Position: Artificial Intelligence Specialist
Location: South Africa — Hybrid (Remote considered)

THE ROLE
You will design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge AI/ML solutions that drive strategic business outcomes. Working across cross-functional teams, you will lead intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and generative AI initiatives — turning complex data into scalable, production-ready AI products.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Build and deploy ML, NLP, computer vision, and generative AI models.
• Develop end-to-end AI pipelines and implement MLOps best practices.
• Translate business problems into AI-driven solutions with measurable impact.
• Champion responsible AI — fairness, transparency, and POPIA compliance.
• Present findings and roadmaps to senior stakeholders and leadership.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or related field (NQF 7+).
• 3–5 years’ hands-on AI/ML model development and deployment experience.
• Strong Python skills; TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn proficiency.
• Cloud platform experience: AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, or Azure ML.
• Exposure to LLMs, Hugging Face, LangChain, or generative AI ecosystems.
• Excellent communication skills — able to simplify complex concepts for business audiences.
