Position: Web Developer / Mobile Developer
Location: South Africa (Hybrid/Remote considered)
Employment Type: Permanent/Contract (Negotiable)
Experience: 2+ years experience in Web Dev/ Mobile Dev
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (NQF Level 7 or higher).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web and mobile applications.
• Build modern user interfaces and digital experiences for enterprise and customer-facing platforms.
• Develop backend APIs and integration services.
• Integrate applications with databases, third-party systems, cloud services, and enterprise platforms.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.
• Participate in application testing, debugging, deployment, and production support.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, business analysts, architects, and DevOps teams.
• Maintain technical documentation and support Agile software delivery processes.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Web Development

• Strong experience in:
  • HTML5
  • CSS3
  • JavaScript / TypeScript
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as:
  • React
  • Angular
  • Vue.js
• Experience building responsive and cross-browser compatible applications.

Mobile Development

• Experience developing Android and/or iOS applications.
• Experience with:
  • Flutter
  • React Native
  • Native Android or iOS development.
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX standards and mobile application deployment.

Backend & Integration

• Experience with backend technologies such as:
  • Java Spring Boot
  • Node.js
  • Python APIs
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Knowledge of JSON, API integration, and authentication mechanisms.

Database & DevOps

• Experience with:
  • PostgreSQL
  • MySQL
  • SQL Server
  • MongoDB
• Knowledge of:
  • Git
  • Docker
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Cloud deployment environments.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in banking, insurance, fintech, e-commerce, or enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft.
• Exposure to API gateways, authentication systems, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum software delivery methodologies.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years experience in web and/or mobile application development.
